Built in 1923 as a grand bank, the building was extensively renovated with many original features restored in 1998 to create this hotel which has recently undergone refurbishment in February 2008. The hotel comprises 9 en-suite bedrooms of a 3-star standard, each one individually designed to reflect the work and lives of a famous Scot. The rooms are arranged over the three floors and accessed via the original staircase. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is before 11 am.
