Edinburgh House Hotel

This hotel is a good choice for the budget conscious traveller who is looking for a solid 2 star property to use as their base to explore Edinburgh. Ideally located and very competitively priced. (rt05.09) Rooms range in size from small to large, they are in an acceptable condition but could do with some updating. Most rooms are en suite, are warm and comfortable. The lobby is small and located directly inside the front door in front of the stairs to the first landing. There is a small reading room and bar off to the left. The hotel is based in a nineteenth century Victorian townhouse, it is set over three floors and many of the original period features are still visible. The Edinburgh House Hotel does not have a restaurant facility. The hotel is situated just off Leith Walk in a quiet neighbourbood. A choice of entertainment (restaurants, pubs, night clubs, cinema and theatre) is available within just 1 mile. Most of Edinburgh's popular attractions such as Princes Street Gardens, Holyrood Palace and the Botanic Gardens are easily accessible.
